The Governors of this highly successful, partially selective, mixed school invite applications for the post of Teacher of French. We seek a highly motivated and energetic candidate to join our very successful and very well resourced Modern Languages department as part of a team of specialist language teachers (teaching French, German and Spanish) and language assistants. The vast majority of students are expected to take a language at GCSE and French is a popular option. You will need to be able to teach students up to and including A level.
In the 2025 GCSE examinations, 67% of students achieved grades 7, 8 or 9 in French with 86% achieving grade 9-5. In the 2025 A-level examinations, 71% of students achieved grade A* or A in French with 100% of students achieving grade A*-B
