The Governors of this highly successful, partially selective, mixed school invite applications for the post of Teacher of German. We seek a highly motivated and energetic candidate to join our very successful and very well resourced Modern Languages department as part of a team of specialist language teachers (teaching French, German and Spanish) and language assistants. The vast majority of students are expected to take a language at GCSE and German is a popular option. You will need to be able to teach students up to and including A level.
In 2025, one student sat A-Level German and achieved an A*. In the 2024 A level examinations, 60% of A Level German results were graded A*-A with 100% graded A*-B.
In 2025, 66% of GCSE German results were grade 7, 8 or 9.
